I’m a Chicagoland based artist/teaching artist creating my own art and working in arts infused learning/community art projects. I started out making art and exhibiting almost twenty years ago. Shortly thereafter , I was invited to a fourth grade classroom in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood to talk with students about life as an artist. My passion for teaching and incorporating art into the curriculum grew from there and now I have worked with classroom teachers, art educators/organizations, and students in Chicago, Los Angeles, New Mexico, Iowa, Michigan, Maine, and the Dominican Republic.
